Dear UC colleagues:

Today I’m joining the hundreds of thousands of faculty, students and staff who make the University of California what it is — the premier public research university system in the world. I am honored by my association with all of you.

A leadership search is underway at �鶹app�� for a Vice Chancellor of Human Health Sciences based on our Sacramento campus. This role and the CEO role were previously held by David Lubarsky, who retired from the university in February.

Statement from Chancellor Gary S. May on Federal Immigration Enforcement Actions

Updated April 27: As of late Saturday, April 26, the Department of Homeland Security has reinstated the F-1 visa status for all 23 �鶹app�� students and recent graduates whose status was terminated earlier in the month.

This week, we learned through our Services for International Students and Scholars unit that the federal government terminated the eligibility of many international students across the country to stay in the U.S.
