As Âé¶¹appÈë¿Ú closes in on securing federal designation as a Hispanic Serving Institution, the university’s will hold a speakers forum next week addressing “HSI Strategies, Topics and Models.â€
“Join us for an afternoon of panels featuring scholars and experts speaking on topics related to what it might mean for Âé¶¹appÈë¿Ú to be Hispanic-serving — from defining the metrics to rethinking the classroom,†the organizers said.
The forum, with refreshments, is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in the multipurpose room at the .
